this house in 1997 at the request of a Coast Guard Officer's Wife I met in

Norfolk, VA. I was at a craft show and she was looking at my work and

asked if I could design something, maybe a house, that would be personalized

showing the duty stations of her husband's military career. So, I took

on the challenge as I always like to do and came up with a simple house

and added this popular saying, "Home is where the "Coast Guard" sends

you... and added some slats below

Home is Where Sign (Custom Sign)

This unique hand painted model house and arch are made of solid wood. The house has routered edges. This house has is very unique design which you will not see any where else, not even a friends house. It has attached shutters and flower window boxes. Flowers will vary.

In the windows you will notice the Est Date

Each station can have an event. Events available are new dog, cat, wedding and baby. The new baby design can be either a baby bottle or foot print. Blue for boy pink for girl. If you want a baby foot print and, the duty station name is to long then only one foot print will be used not two. Date served at each station will be put on bottom of slat.

If you would rather just have a family members name instead of a duty station this can be done to.
