All of our butterflies are made with lots of love. Butterflies are crafted of real wood, are hand painted, with 3 coats of acrylic latex outdoor UV resistant paint. Antenne are either a pipe cleaner or wire. No assembly is required. Our butterflies are 1/2" thick with a 2" wide body. They weigh about 2- 3 pounds, all have a green painted underside. They can be hung with a metal hook attached to the back, or we can drill a hole thru the middle. Just let us know.

Comments: Several months ago I ordered your beautiful Monarch butterfly from your company. It was to be a gift for a very special aunt & uncle. They were traveling throughout the winter months. They had placed a huge rock near the end of their driveway because they wanted to have a sign attached that said, "Welcome To Butterfly Acres". So while they were away, my sister-in-law, brother-in-law & I decided to make that sign happen for them as a surprise. I was so excited to find your website. The butterfly that arrived at my home was great! We then ordered a sign with the words they wanted and attached both to the rock (with MUCH DIFFICULTY -that was ONE HARD ROCK TO DRILL INTO) My poor brother-in-law finally managed to get the job done. So, thank you again for a beautiful product! I'm sure it can handle our Indiana weather! I told my aunt about your site so that she can order another butterfly to exchange on her sign if she wants. We attached so she can slide !

Butterfly Care Instructions
What to do to maintain colors and protect against UV rays
1. Once a year or every 2 years according to your climate, with a non
abrasive cloth wash butterfly with mild detergent, rinse and wipe dry.
2. Spray 1 to 2 coats of non yellowing exterior spray gloss. Let dry
between coats.

Note: Humidity must be below 85 percent
